DOG TRAINING
Good Rascal Dog Training was created to offer quality, reasonably priced Pet Dog Training in the Atlanta Metro Area. We are based out of Kennesaw, Georgia, and our Dog Training Service Areas include: Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Midtown, Vinings, Smyrna, Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Woodstock, Towne Lake, and the surrounding areas.
Our Owner and Trainer, Gary Merullo, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. He is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and the International Association of Animal Behavior Counselors (IAABC). Gary has worked with and trained Pet Dogs for many years, and he believes that Basic Obedience and Good Manners Training is the most important foundation that you can give to your Dog, resulting in the happiness and well-being of the Pet and the Pet Owner. Good Rascal Dog Training offers Private Training in Basic Obedience and Good Manners, and Advanced Training and Off-Leash Control. The Training is done at your home, or at some other private setting of your choice. Positive, gentle methods are used, making training fun for both The Dog and The Dog Owner.
Private Dog Training (Basic Obedience and Good Manners)
We offer One-On-One Private Dog Training at your home or at a mutually convenient location. Your Dog will learn the Basic Obedience Commands, and General Good Manners. We recommend this one-on-one training because this will give your Dog the individual attention he/she needs. Our Dog Trainer can set the pace of the training based on your Dog's responses and special needs. In Private Training, our Trainer will work with the Dog and the Dog Owner, to make sure each lesson is completed successfully. Please see our Dog Training Page for details.
Private Small Group Class (Basic Obedience and Good Manners)
We also offer Small Group Dog Training Classes for a discounted fee to be given at your home or other private location. Please see our Dog Training Page for details.
Advanced Obedience and Off Leash Control (Basic Obedience Required)

Rascal Boot Camp Day Training (Basic Obedience)
Let our Certified Dog Trainer train your dog in Basic Obedience and Good Manners. Gary will come to your home 4 days a week to work One-On-One with your dog. There is no need for you to be home for these 4 days. On Day 5, our Trainer will work with you and your dog, to make sure you understand everything your dog has learned for the week. He will make sure you will be able to give the commands with success for each week's lesson. Please see our Dog Training Page for details.
Walk/Train Dog Training Sessions
The Owner also has the Option of specially discounted Walk/Train Sessions in which the Trainer will come to your Home for One Hour Visits during the week to work One-On-One with your Dog. This is Available to the Owner whether the Dog is a Previous Good Rascal Obedience Student or is Currently in Basic Obedience Training. Our Trainer will first give your Dog a 30-minute Walk to review proper Loose Leash Walking technique. Then he will either Review the Obedience Commands that are in your Dog's current week's lesson, or Review Commands your Dog may be having problems with since previous Training. This does not take away the obligation of the Owner to work with the dog, but it will definitely be an added benefit for the dog. Please see our Dog Training Page for details.
Real-Life Dog Training
Once your dog has completed our Basic Obedience Training, we offer Real-Life Dog Training for you and your dog. Our Trainer will meet you at a mutually-convenient location such as a park, pet-friendly restaurant, or other pet-friendly location, to work with you and your dog in real-life situations.
